
Acute acalculous cholecystitis
An oblique, sagittal CT Scan with contrast enhancement of a 47-year-old male patient. The gallbladder is distended with marked diffuse mural thickening showing few hypodense areas and minute mucosal interruptions. No gallstones were identified. No intrahepatic biliary radicals dilatation either. A 64 slice CT scanner was utilized with a 0.5 mm thickness parameter.
