A 34 years old male patient, photographed one month following the Otitis Media of his right ear. He experienced: fever, irritability, nausea, vomiting, vertigo, hearing loss, swelling and redness of the ear lobe, redness behind the ear, bulging and drooping of the ear. The pain in the region of the right auricle and the region behind, also just within ear was of strong intensity, due to which a radiography of the mastoid process was performed, resulting in diagnosis - Mastoiditis acuta. This photo shows the red-purple discoloration of the skin of the mastoid region with swelling and redness of the ear lobe, a purulent nodular change on which the incision was made and where the yellowish-bloody content of the same is noticed. In the immediate vicinity is another minor nodular change with pus on top.
