
Aneurysm (Hemorrhagic stroke) - CT scan
A male 52 years old patient. He fell ill acutely, lost consciousness, experienced convulsions & passed into a coma. An emergency CT scan was performed and identified a Hemorrhagic stroke on the left side of the brain with a breakthrough in the ventricular system and subarachnoid space. Rupture of a large aneurysm of the left middle cerebral artery. Here we see a coloured MIP (Maximum Intensity Projection) coronal scan.
