Ankylosed primary molar
Ankylosis is a condition frequently associated with primary molars, wherein the ankylosed primary teeth remain in a fixed position, while the adjacent teeth continue to erupt, moving occlusally. The affected tooth seems submerged. In this case, we can see an ankylosed primary inferior second molar in a 12 year old boy.
