
Arnold-Chiari malformation and syringomyelia
This coloured T2 MRI image shows Arnold Chiari malformation in a patient with C7-T1 syringomyelia (hypertensive intramedullary cyst) diagnosed three months after parachute jumping in a 43 years old male patient. The patient complains of painless burns on his wrist, sensory involvement was seen in C8-T4 myotomes. He also has headaches and episodic vertigo
