
Blood clot of the bladder - ultrasound scan
A male patient, 73 years old. A month prior to this ultrasound scan, he had a transurethral resection of the prostate surgery. Complaints of difficulty urinating with blood in the urine. The examination revealed a large blood clot that wedged into the neck of the bladder and proximal part of the urethra, which made it difficult to urinate.
