Blue nevus on the gluteal region
Blue nevus is benign, rare, melanocytic nevus. The most frequent type is common blue nevus, on the hands and feet, small in dimension up to 1 cm. Cellular blue type is usually seen on gluteal or sacrococcigeal region and on the scalp and is larger. There is a malignant BN that can arise from blue nevus, de novo, and is usually localised on the scalp. If enlarging rapidly blue nevus is better to be excised
