
Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion with Macular Edema complications
A 62-year-old female suffered from branch retinal vein occlusion of superotemporal branch vein in the right eye with macular edema complications. She suffered for three months prior to this exam. This fundus photograph shows widespread hemorrhages, axonal congestion (cotton wool spots) upstream of the venous occlusion, and sclerotic vein lesions at the arteriovenous crossing.
