Calcifying pulmonary metastases due to ovarian cancer - treated - after 3 months
This is a coronal, maximum intensity projection (MIP) CT image (lung window) of a 58-year-old non-smoker female with a history of ovarian cancer and segmentectomy of the right lower lobe. It shows multiple complex nodules and nodes, measuring 5 - 25 mm with a calcified and soft tissue component. The number and the size have increased. Calcifying pulmonary metastases due to ovarian cancer was diagnosed 3 months prior to this CT scan. A 128-slice CT scanner was used, with the thickness parameter set to 20 mm.
