Chronic left middle cerebral artery territory infarct
A 51-yeah-old-female patient. This MRI scan shows extensive left-sided encephalomalacia/gliosis, which is due to the left MCA (middle cerebral artery) territory infarct, which happened in the past. Mild ex-vacuo dilatation of the left lateral ventricle is also noticeable.
