
Chronic renal artery occlusion
This is a coronal CT image with contrast enhancement of a 53-year-old male with a history of T-cell lymphoma. The right renal artery is completely occluded. Note the atrophic with cystic transforming of the right kidney. The retroaortic left renal vein (RLRV) is also visible. A 64-slice CT scanner was used, with the thickness parameter set to 0.5 mm. A 100 ml iodine contrast with V = 5 ml/sec injection was administered prior to the scan.
