Colorectal cancer with brain, lung and liver metastasis
This is a colored transverse CT image (mediastinal window) with contrast enhancement of a 35-year-old female with a history of rectal cancer and total mesorectal excision (TME) 18 months before this scan. It shows multiple nodules, nodes in both lungs and solid mass in the left lung. A 128-slice CT scanner was used. This CT scan procedure included dynamic acquisition at 35 and 90 seconds after administration of iodine contrast (volume: 100 mL; flow rate: 2.5 mL/s), and the CT scanner's slice thickness was 2 mm.
