Colorectal cancer with brain, lung and liver metastasis
This is an oblique, coronal CT image with contrast enhancement of a 35-year-old female with a history of rectal cancer and total mesorectal excision (TME) 18 months before this scan. Notice increased wall thickness due to tumoral infiltration at the rectum caused by prolongation of rectal cancer. Multiple liver metastases are also noted. A 128-slice CT scanner was used. This CT scan procedure included dynamic acquisition at 35 and 90 seconds after administration of iodine contrast (volume: 100 mL; flow rate: 2.5 mL/s), and the CT scanner's slice thickness was 2 mm.
