Colorectal cancer with liver metastasis
Colored axial CT scan with contrast enhancement of a 49-year-old female shows circumferential increased wall thickness and luminal narrowing due to tumoral infiltration at the sigmoid colon measuring approx. 8 cm in length, which is typical for colorectal cancer. A 64-slice CT scanner was used, with the thickness parameter set to 0.5 mm. A 100 ml iodine contrast with V = 5 ml/sec injection was administered prior to the scan.
