Coronary CT scan - normal patient
A female 42 years old patient complained of chest pains of unknown nature. Coronary CT angiography (CTA or CCTA) examination, was performed in a usual manner - no pathological changes in coronary vessels and heart chambers were detected. CTA is an excellent non-invasive method for younger to medium aged patients with relatively low symptoms. This diagnostic method has a high prognostic value of negative results (more than 98%), thus saving them time and avoiding those time-consuming cardiological pre-screening.
