Coxarthrosis - professional footballer in later life
A male 60 years old patient, a former professional footballer, complained of pain in his right hip, which he felt for several years prior to the examination. During his active football career, this patient suffered severe injuries to his right leg. However, there were no fractures and bone damages suffered to the right leg. Here we see a Pelvis X-ray LS (lumbosacral) spine with narrowing of intervertebral spaces in all segments, osteophytes on segments L5 / S1, L4 / L5, L3 / L4 and completely altered vertebral contour of each of the vertebrae.
