Diabetic proliferative retinopathy. Traction retinal detachment
The patient is 32 years old female, suffering from Type I diabetes mellitus, uncompensated. Within 1 year, she noticed a decrease in visual acuity and did not consult her doctor. Biomicroscopy revealed proliferation of the retina, tractional detachment of the retina, vessels were thinned, the course of vessels was changed and the optic nerve was partially visualized. Her vision at the time of examination was 5%
