Double S Scoliosis

A 12-year-old boy with a significant spine deformation, making it difficult for him to sit or walk and causing severe back pain. The curvature of his spine is more prominent on the right side. In this photograph of his back, we can see scoliosis of the thoracic and lumbosacral spine with the S letter shape. The boy cannot hold his torso independently without the help of a physiotherapist. The left side of the back shows the weakness of the paravertebral musculature and the prominence of the scapular region, which is protruding.
