Double S Scoliosis

A 12-year-old boy with a significant spine deformation, making it difficult to sit or walk and causing severe back pain. The curvature of his spine is more prominent on the right side. On this colored X-Ray radiograph of the whole spine in the standing position and in the left lateral view, we can see the strongly emphasized lumbar lordosis of the spinal column and the rotation of the spinous process of all the lumbar vertebrae. This has also resulted in the deformity of the chest with a protrusion of the sternum - "pectus carinatum" type of the thorax.
