Ectopic eruption

Ectopic eruption can be defined as a condition in which a permanent tooth assume a path of eruption that is not normal. Sometimes this cause that the primary tooth does not exfoliate, and this produces a consequent malposition of the permanent tooth. This is a case of a 7 year old girl with an ectopic eruption of the lower right lateral incisor.
