A 54 years old female patient complained of palpitations, shortness of breath, pain behind the sternum, vertigo. She also suffered from bacterial pneumonia with a fever and temperature of 37.5°С. Three-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography. ME LAX View (mid-esophageal, long axis). ZOOM mode. During the systole a large formation (vegetation) together with the aortic valve cusp is moved to the aorta by the outflow of blood from the left ventricle.
