Focal palmar peeling - brown skin
Focal palmar peeling in a 17-year-old child. This is a morphological pattern of hand eczema. it is also known as desquamation enaires, keratolysis exfoliativa or ringed keratolysis of the palms. During the summer months, small areas of superficial, white desquamation develop on the sides of the fingers and on the palms or on the feet. Because it is relatively asymptomatic it often does not reach the dermatologist. Fitzpatrick skin type (FST) phototype 5.
