Giant foot blister
A 67-year-old diabetic patient reported to the ER because of a large lump on his foot. Physical examination revealed an enormous blister on his heel. A blister is an area of raised skin due to rubbing and pressure with a watery liquid inside. One of the reasons is wearing uncomfortable or poor-fitting shoes. If the mechanical cause persists, blisters can go on to form calluses. It's an example of improper foot care in preventing diabetic foot.
