Goiter. Right thyroidectomy - CT scan
Coloured Axial CT scan with contrast enhancement. A 79-year-old-female patient. The enlarged CT scan, heterogeneously contrast enhancing, left thyroid lobe extends to the level of the left sternoclavicular joints. However, the scan does not extend below the level of the sternal notch. The absent right thyroid lobe is consistent with hemithyroidectomy. No other mass lesion is identified within the neck. Pharyngeal contours within normal limits. Parotid and submandibular glands have normal appearances. No cervical lymphadenopathy. No suspicious osseous abnormality.
