Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm or tumor (IPMN or IMPT). Inferior vena caval tumor thrombosis -CT scans
Sagittal CT scan with contrast enhancement. A 52-year-old-male patient. Intra & extrahepatic bile ducts are dilated and the common bile duct (CBD) diameter measuring 12-21 mm. A 55× 52 mm sized mass with lobulated margin is noted at the pancreatic head, accompanied with severe distal pancreatic atrophic changes, which are marked by duct dilatation - Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms. Some cystic lesions are also observed in the pancreatic body (11 mm in size)and tail (5-6 mm) in a branching pattern. No calcification is evident. There is no sign of local invasion to adjacent structures and no vascular involvement. Abdominal fluid and massive inferior vena cava (IVC) tumor thrombosis are also present.
