
Isolated LV apical hypoplasia, 3D LV function
A 32 years old male patient with Isolated left ventricular apical hypoplasia, abnomal form of LV, Spherical LV remodeling with bulging of interventricular septum (IVS) to the cavity of the RV the disturbances of the anatomical LV structure with the truncated LV apex forms an increase in width and a pronounced decrease in longitudinal size of the LV, as a result of which the ventricle has the shape of a horseshoe. IVS bulges to the right, giving the impression of an aneurysm, but its kinesis is preserved.
