
Keratosis pilaris - brown skin
Keratosis pilaris (KP) of extensor surfaces of upper arms in a 16-year-old girl. KP is an abnormality of keratinization affecting the follicular orifices, most commonly on the extensor surfaces of the upper arms. Patients may complain about the ‘goosebump’ or ‘chicken skin’ appearance of their skin and rough texture. Fitzpatrick skin type (FST) phototype 5.
