Knee Joint Replacement Surgery, 20 Days Later

Bandaged left knee of an 83-year-old female patient. The patient underwent total knee joint replacement surgery 20 days prior. The wound is well healed, covered with bandages after removal of staples. The leg still shows swelling both above and below the knee but the redness of the inflammation has vanished. The lower legs show spider veins.
