Linear IgA bullous dermatosis - brown skin
Blisters and vesicles frequently arise in an annular pattern with blistering along the edge of lesions forming the so‐called ‘string‐of‐pearls’, ‘crown of jewels’ or ‘cluster of jewels’ sign. Of note, this sign is not pathognomonic for LAD and may also be seen in bullous pemphigoid (BP). Pruritus is variable from absent to severe. Fitzpatrick skin type (FST) phototype 5.
