A Mediterranean caucasian patient, 68 years old with skin Phototype IV, was referred for a hard hyperkeratotic papule, with a tendency to erosion and bleeding on the lower lip. It started three months earlier. The patient is a heavy smoker. Biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma.
