
Lips squamous cell carcinoma caused by smoking
A mediterranean caucasian patient, 70 years old with skin Phototype IV-V, refered for a grayish-brown, scaly plaque with low infiltration and superficial ulceration without tendancy to healing. It developed on actinic keratosis on the lip. The patient was a heavy smoker. Biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma. cervical nodes were free.
