Lung tumor male patient
A 65 years old male, smoker, with tumor mass of approx. 3.5 cm in the lower left lobe of the lung. The core biopsy was performed and microscopy revealed irregular adenoid structures incorporated in hyalinized stroma morphology consistent with lung adenocarcinoma. This hematoxylin and eosin stain (H&E) micrograph was stained with monoclonal antibody for EGFR L858R clone SP125 (Ventana), and immunohistochemistry (IHC) revealed moderate positivity for this antibody. EGFR marker, magnification x20.
