McCune-Albright syndrome fibrous dysplasia in premature puberty
A 7 years old girl, suffering from McCune-Albright syndrome, during her premature puberty & whilst awaiting right hip joint surgery. Patients with McCune-Albright syndrome often develop areas of abnormal scar-like (fibrous) tissue in their bones, a condition called polyostotic fibrous dysplasia. On this X-ray, we see that her right leg is shorter by about 3 cm.
