Melanoma with small bowel, brain, left adrenal gland and lymph nodes metastases

This is a sagittal CT image with contrast enhancement of a 38-year-old male with a history of cutaneous melanoma. It shows a large mass with marked irregular mural thickening of the small bowel, typical for melanoma metastases. Metastases in the brain, left adrenal gland, and right iliac lymph nodes are also noted. A 64-slice CT scanner was used. This CT scan procedure included dynamic acquisition at 35 and 90 seconds after administration of iodine contrast (volume: 100 mL; flow rate: 2.5 mL/s). CT scanner's slice thickness was set to 1 mm.
