The sagittal section of the cervical spine (TR=8, TE=4) of a 52 years old female patient with a 6 months long history of low spastic paraparesis and urinary retention without spontaneous activity on needle electromyography. Discomedullary conflict on the level of C5-6 can be seen as well as diminishing of the transverse section of the spinal cord in the middle and the low level of the thoracic spine with the diameter of 5 mm which is diagnostic for myelopathy on the thoracic level. No lesions are seen intramedullary on the cervical level.
