
Neoplasm of the iris
A male 58 years old patient, diagnosed with a Neoplasm of the iris with pigmented leiomyoma. Between 3 to 6 hours from the pupillary edge to the root of the iris, a moderately penetrating, slightly pigmented neoplasm of a sufficiently loose consistency, with clear boundaries with its own vascular network. The pupil is pulled towards the neoplasm, the inversion of the pigmented border towards the neoplasm. The photo was taken on a smartphone, using a slit lamp.
