Non-tuberculous Mycobacterial (NTM). Cardiogenic pulmonary edema

A VR (virtual reality), 3D-rendering CT scan of a 67-year-old-female non-smoking patient. Notice lung parenchymal clusters of small nodules, branching opacities and small airway dilatation. The changes have a predilection in the lower lobes, supporting the diagnosis - Non-tuberculous Mycobacterial (NTM) infection. Pleural spaces are clear. Bilateral airspace opacification in a central peribronchovascular distribution associated with smooth Interlobular septal thickening indicating interstitial edema. Mild cardiac enlargement is also noted.
