Papillary thyroid cancer pleural metastases
A 56 years old female patient with a history of papillary thyroid cancer 12 months after thyroidectomy. This contrast-enhanced CT scan (taken 3 weeks AFTER chemotherapy) of the chest abdomen and pelvis demonstrates diffuse pleural thickening on the left, multiple small nodular enhancing pleural lesions, measuring on average 0.2 - 0.4cm in diameter, typical of pleural metastases.
