
Peripheral arterial disease
This is a transverse lower extremity angiography CT image of a 79-year-old male with arteriosclerosis. His lower extremity arteries show occlusion of the right anterior tibial artery, right fibular artery, left anterior and posterior tibial arteries and left fibular artery. A 128-slice CT scanner was used. This CT scan procedure included acquisition at 35 seconds after administration of iodine contrast (volume: 120 mL; flow rate: 5 mL/s). The CT scanner's slice thickness was 1 mm.
