Pulmonary Mycobacterium avium complex infection - untreated - first-time detected
Frontal CT scan with contrast enhancement of a 78-year-old female. It shows a right upper lobe fibrocavitary pattern. Centrilobular opacity type "tree in the bud" is visible in the right middle lobe. Bronchiectasis and bronchial wall thickening are identified in the right upper lobe. Pulmonary calcifications and nodularity are likely due to chronic infection.
