Pulmonary Mycobacterium avium complex infection - untreated for 10 months
Frontal CT scan with contrast enhancement of a 45-year-old male, administered following 10 months of infection. It shows a left upper lobe fibrocavitary pattern. Centrilobular opacity type "tree in the bud" is visible in both lower lobes. Bronchiectasis and bronchial wall thickening are identified in the left lower lobe. Pleural scarring and nodularity are likely due to chronic infection.
