Pulmonary Mycobacterium avium complex infection - untreated

This is a coronal CT image with contrast enhancement of a 55-year-old non-smoker female. It shows a right middle lobe (medial bronchopulmonary segment - S5) fibrocavitary pattern - Lady Windermere Syndrome (LWS). Noticeable are: focal tree-in-bud opacities in the left upper lobe, bronchiectasis, and bronchial wall thickening. Pulmonary calcifications are likely due to chronic infection. A 64-slice CT scanner was used, with the thickness parameter set to 0.5 mm. A 100 ml iodine contrast with V = 5 ml/sec injection was administered prior to the scan.
