Recurrent Breast cancer following Radiotherapy

A 61-year-old woman comes for an examination due to swelling and changes in the skin of her right breast, which was operated on 11 months prior. A pathohistological lab test confirmed her breast cancer. She is on oral hormone therapy with radiation therapy following her operation. Her right breast is voluminous and edematous. We can see a darker discoloration of the entire breast's skin and a complete intussusception of the nipple. The skin of the breast has changed its normal smooth appearance and looks like an orange peel. Dotted dark pigmentation is visible on the skin between the breasts. Notice a blue marker due to radiation therapy. In the upper lateral and upper medial quadrants of the breast, a horizontal postoperative incision of the previous tumorectomy can be seen, where pathohistologically, breast cancer was verified. The left breast is involute, with normal skin discoloration, with a normal appearance of the nipple. Fitzpatrick skin type (FST) phototype 2.
