Sclerosing Angiomatoid Nodular Transformation of the spleen (SANT)
Coloured Sagittal CT scan with contrast enhancement. A 23-year-old-male patient. Here we see an upper splenic pole with well defined lobulated mass, measuring 90 x 82 x 79 mm. This lesion produces isodensity to hypodensity in the non-enhanced mode/study. In the post-contrast study/mode, this lesion looks more prominent in the delay phase, where the lesion appears heterogeneous with no complete contrast added in. This is a typical characteristic of Sclerosing angiomatoid nodular transformation of the spleen (SANT).
