Self-inflicted skin lesions
A 52-year-old female with a borderline personality disorder presented with multiple linear scars, ulcerations, excoriations, and erosions on the extremities of 5 years duration. The lesions are a result of repetitive cutting, scratching, and hitting. The patient denies all responsibility for skin lesions. Fitzpatrick skin type (FST) phototype 2.
