Semi-Aquatic Orchid
Kinta weed (Papilionanthe hookeriana = Vanda hookeriana) was once an abundant terrestrial, semi-aquatic orchid in the wetlands of the Kinta Valley, Perak, Malaysia. Now much of its habitat has been destroyed. It is also one parent of the hybrid orchid "Miss Joaquim" that became the national flower of Singpore.
