Severe bicuspid aortic valve stenosis
A 55 years old patient with сongenital heart disease, bicuspid aortic valve complained of frequent pain behind the sternum, shortness of breath during a little physical activity & vertigo. Severe aortic valve stenosis was revealed during the transthoracic echocardiography. Intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography after the surgery. ME LAX View (mid-esophageal, long axis). A normal flow spectrum on the prosthesis is registered during the spectral Doppler ultrasonography in the aortic position.
