Signet ring cell adenoma of the thyroid gland .The PAS stains colors the colloid in red, which is clearly visible in the thyroid vesicles and more rarely in the vesicular cells whose vacuoles push back the nuclei at the periphery. Histological section, x 200 (at 24x36 mm size).
