Skull fracture CT
A 48-year-old male with severe head trauma caused by a fall from a tree. At admission, he was GCS 14 with no neurological deficit. The patient was operated on for 2 hours upon admission and discharged from the Clinic after 10 days. At discharge, he was GCS 15, with no signs of CSF leakage and no neurological deficit. Here we see an axial plane of bone window CT scan of a patient with head trauma. It shows a multifragmental impressive fracture of the frontal bone, predominantly on the left side, with intracranial air collections (pneumocephalus).
