
Skull fracture
A 48-year-old male with severe head trauma caused by a fall from a tree. At admission, he was GCS 14 with no neurological deficit. The patient was operated on for 2 hours upon admission and discharged from the Clinic after 10 days. At discharge, he was GCS 15, with no signs of CSF leakage and no neurological deficit. This head Shaded Surface Display (SSD) CT shows a multifragmental impressive fracture of the frontal bone, mainly on the left side.
